Women's Rights
The piece is a pregnant woman and some female sculptures without bodies. I want to express that in the process of banning abortion, women's bodies are not under their control.
Iranian women have been required to wear robes and headscarves since 1979. Recently, an Iranian woman died after being taken away by the ethics police because she was “dressed improperly”. Some Iranian women revolted, saying no to head scarves and burning their headscarves.
In this piece, I show violence against women. One out of three women, around 736 million globally, have been subjected to physical or sexual violence in their lifetimes, according to an analysis by the World Health Organization.
